"Detectives of Divinity" follows the sleuthing tactics of Detective Diego and Detective Dakota, who help students investigate the lives of biblical characters, such as Moses, the Shunammite woman, the Good Samaritan and Tabitha.  Children will explore how to be Detectives of Divinity and look for God in Bible stories as well as their own lives.  Be sure to join us!

Jesus modeled and taught shalom, often by telling stories.  Stories still speak, teach, and nurture.  Reading books that show characters choosing creative and peaceful solutions can help your children choose Jesus' Way of Peace in their own lives here and now.

Faith experienced at an early age is the foundation for all other growth.  The good news we share with our children has the power to transform lives and revitalize communities.  So let's prepare the ground for a new tomorrow, send down roots anchored in love.  Let's sow in them seeds of mercy and plant them by the river of life.  Let's teach our kids to SHINE in this world!

The SHINE curriculum takes your child through important themes and Bible characters over a three-year period.

The churches in the Henderson community partner with one another to create a Christ-centered family friendly event which seeks to transform the evening of October 31 from a festival of fear and darkness to a celebration of God's blessing and faithfulness.

Who is My Neighbor?

Neighbors are more than the people who live next door.  Neighbors are more than the people in our families or communities. Through five New Testament stories, this year's VBS will lead children on a journey to discover more about God's great love.  From looking at how to be a neighbor to diving into what it means to live out our faith, this series will lead kids deeply into Bible stories focused on God's care and compassion for neighbors close at hand and around the world. Join us as we discover neighbors near and far!
